Ingredients
- ¼ cup cold water
- 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
- ⅓ cup sugar
- 4 cups berries, fresh or frozen (blackberries, raspberries,
- blueberries, sliced strawberries or a mixture)
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, mix together the water,
cornstarch, sugar and 2 cups of the berries. Mash the
berries, if desired.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the
sauce starts to thicken.
- Remove from heat and stir
in the remaining berries.
- Serve over pancakes,
waffles or plain yogurt—
any time you want a
little sweetness.
